The Beauty of Trash

Nowadays we are surrounded by "cheap" beauty: on TV, magazines, etc. People are used to judge on mere appeareance, often forgetting to get at the true essence of things/people. Sometimes I notice this sort of "discrimination" in photography too because the choice of the photographer often falls on the best object and such, so I thought "why not trying to capture something that is considered not beautiful anymore, something that has withered..." so the idea of these tulips petals came into my mind.
